Can it be used in the store as well as online?
Yes - that's the whole idea. The card runs on one shared balance, so it works at our online checkout and over the counter at the Lake Tekapo store. Spend part of it online and the rest in person, or the other way around; the balance simply updates wherever it's used.
How is the card delivered?
Digitally, by email. Each card carries its own unique code, so there is nothing to post and nothing to lose down the back of a drawer.
Does it expire?
Yes. Petronella's Gift Cards have a three year expiry date - plenty of time to spend up large or take your time browsing - fitting, for a shop that's all about slowing down.
What if the order is more than the card's value?
The card covers as much as it can and you simply pay the difference with any other method - online or in store. If an order comes to less than the balance, the remainder stays on the card for next time.
Can I check the remaining balance?
Any time. The latest balance shows on the original gift card email, and our team can look it up for you at the counter in Tekapo whenever you are in.
