Reality Readers Book Club

Welcome to our non fiction 'Reality Readers' book club. This is a great opportunity to step outside of your tried and true reading genre.

This club provides a window into real-world experiences, different cultures, and historical events. We will learn to foster empathy and gain a broader understanding of Aotearoa and the world around us.

HOW IT WORKS

  • One book will be selected for all book members to read.
  • Copies will be available to purchase in-store or online.
  • Members get 5% off their purchase of the book of the month
  • Meet in-store on the first Wednesday of every SECOND month. If you can't attend, you can send your thoughts in via email to bookclubs@petronella.co.nz.
  • Discuss the book in detail - discussions can prompt members to consider different viewpoints and critically evaluate their own assumption
  • Reading Guides Notes will be sent out prior to the meeting
  • Drinks and light nibbles provided. $5 per meeting if you attend in person.

 

HOW TO REGISTER

Email us at bookclubs@petronella.co.nz to register your interest.  If you wish to have a book put aside, please let us know.  We can keep this book for collection for a maximum of 30 days.
