Wednesday 13 January 2021, 7PM at Petronella's Loss Adjustment is a very personal account by Linda Collins about the death of her daughter Victoria by suicide at the age of seventeen. Linda’s writing is interwoven with Victoria’s poetry and diary entries. It is at once a book of heartbreak and a clear-eyed exploration of the parents’ struggle to find answers. As soon as you saw the handwriting you probably knew who sent it.On Monday night, 14 September, we’ll leave behind the lightning fast and convenient tools of communication and slow down to explore the advantages and beauty of handwritten correspondence.We will look at examples of great letters and explore prompts for basic letter writing.
